At Unnión, we have a clear and profound purpose:
To restore as many hectares as possible of Colombia’s most fragile, most threatened, and most strategic ecosystem—the tropical dry forest.
This ecosystem, which once covered vast regions of the country, has been reduced to less than 8% of its original extent. But there is still time to restore it. Our commitment is not symbolic—it is technical, environmental, and deeply human.
🛠️ How Do We Make It Happen?
Our goal is ambitious and measurable:
To conserve 400 hectares of secondary tropical dry forest.
To restore 325 hectares of degraded land by planting over 350,000 native trees adapted to the ecosystem.
To generate social impact by employing local communities and promoting environmental education.
To connect companies and individuals with a tangible, traceable, and certified ecological restoration cause.
This is not just a tree-planting project. It’s a holistic regeneration model where the economy, the environment, and the social fabric are deeply intertwined.

Because it is the most threatened ecosystem in Colombia.

Unnión was born precisely in this critical zone—between the Coello and Combeima rivers, in the heart of Tolima—to change the story of this forest. We do it from within the territory, through knowledge, technology, strategic partnerships, and community participation.
